This golf and poker tournament raises funds to support the science program at The Children's School. This year's tournament will be held at the prestigious Maderas Golf Club in Poway, rated "San Diego's #1 Golf Course" for seven consecutive years by the Zagat Golf Survey. This year, as the science program moves into brand-new laboratory space with the opening of the Nelson Middle Years buildings, your generous support will help outfit the science labs with equipment that will enhance our cutting-edge academic program. We also hope to build a solid
partnership between our school and the rich scientific community that
calls San Diego home. We envision collaboration between our students and
forward-thinking corporations where children can learn hands-on in a
setting dedicated to scientific research and discovery. By placing equal
importance on both the process and content of science education, we
hope to study - and to create - Great Scientists. Tournament registration is now open, and we continue to seek corporate partnerships to sponsor our event and connect with our science program. If you would like to learn more about connecting your Great Scientists
