We give to tcs because
there's nowhere else like it
Right now, the average class size in a California public school is 26 students. Other schools are cutting programs in the arts and sciences because they lack the funding to support them. Teachers at public schools are compelled to “teach to the test” so they can keep their jobs. Children are being asked to grow up earlier and earlier in school environments unable to teach them and treat them as individuals. Right now, children at some public elementary schools are not allowed to hold hands.
Amidst this landscape, The Children’s School stands out. This remarkable school is kept strong through visionary leadership, an unwavering commitment to its educational philosophies, top-notch teaching, a peerless sense of community, and the staunch support of its families.
Like other non-profit organizations, TCS is sustained by the generosity of its community. And so we ask that each family join in supporting our school through its three major fundraisers: the Annual Fund, the Building Bridges Capital Campaign, and Fun Night.
Through these fundraisers, TCS is able to attract and retain its excellent faculty. We are able to build, maintain, and improve our dynamic academic and social curricula and the buildings and grounds that house them. We are able to envision the changes that will make the TCS of tomorrow even stronger than the TCS of today – and we are able to make those changes into reality.
We strive for 100% participation from our community in our campaigns. A united effort sends a powerful message inside and outside our halls: we give to TCS because we believe in its mission, we know that it is the right place for our children and our families, and we are willing to invest in this special place where there is magic in the classrooms and where we grow great kids.
The Children’s School is a 501c3 organization; all gifts to TCS are tax-deductible.
